The Hong Kong Society for Quality of life has set up a scholarship scheme for this conference to encourage and facilitate young QOL researchers in Hong Kong and Mainland China to present their research findings in the conference.

Amount of Scholarship

Each successful applicant would be granted a scholarship of HK$800 or RMB800. Priority will be given to applicants who have one or more free paper(s) accepted for presentation as the first/presenting in the conference.

Application procedures

To be eligible for scholarship application, interest person has to submit an abstract as first author. Scholarship will only be granted to those people with an abstract accepted for presentation. Interested person can apply on-line at the same when he/she submit free paper abstract. The deadline of application is 31 January 2008. Successful applicants will be informed before 15 March 2008.

Payment

Successful applicants have to attend the conference and present the accepted paper. The scholarship will be given to the successful Hong Kong and Mainland China applicants by cheque and cash receptively. Recipients are required to acknowledgment of reception of the scholarship by signing in a standard form prepared by the HKSoQOL.
