Professor Peter M. Fayers
Professor Peter Fayers is a Professor of Medical Statistics of the Department of Public Health of the University of Aberdeen. He is a leading international expert in the area of patient reported outcomes and subjective indicators, particularly in quality of life research, and has written four books on the subject. Peter was president of the International Society for Quality of Life Research during 2005-2006, an associate editor of Quality of Life Research from 1998, and is currently a member of the editorial board. Besides, he chaired the quality of life Group of the European Organization on Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) for the 4 years until 2003.
